iGaming product library · working concepts

Ideas you can use, not just read.

A collection of product hypotheses turned into working demos. The current library is intentionally sports-led, using betting as a proving ground for broader ideas around discovery, personalisation, gamification, automation and new iGaming interaction models.

The format

Thesis → demo → implication.

Product strategy becomes more useful when people can touch the idea. These are not production products; they are deliberately compact prototypes designed to make an emerging iGaming opportunity concrete enough for product, technology and leadership teams to debate.

01Discovery system

Searchable Markets

One market catalogue can support several customer taxonomies — if discovery starts from meaning, not feed structure.

Problem

Deep sportsbook catalogues are still organised around market families that customers have to learn.

What changes

Add a retrieval layer that can organise the same inventory by sporting question, match story, player/team or traditional feed type.

Try this in the demo

Choose “Mbappé decides it”, then switch taxonomy and click a real market such as Mbappé anytime goalscorer to see its four different addresses.

  • One inventory
  • Four taxonomies
  • Intent → market

02Pricing experience

Dynamic Bet Builder

When two selections help or work against each other, the customer should be able to see that relationship — not only the final price.

Problem

Same-game pricing understands correlation, but the interface usually hides that intelligence behind one final number.

What changes

Make the relationship between legs visible and use match-story choices as the way into the builder.

Try this in the demo

Keep “Kylian Mbappé anytime goalscorer” fixed, then switch the winner from Real Madrid to Barcelona and compare what happens to the relationship and price.

  • Same first leg
  • Visible relationship
  • Price A/B

AI Bet Translator

Write the outcome the way you would say it. The product translates that sentence into the sportsbook selections that already exist.

Problem

Sportsbooks are built around structured market names and hierarchies. Customers think in outcomes, not sportsbook taxonomy.

What changes

Add a translation layer between free-form customer intent and existing market inventory.

Try this in the demo

Type something a real user might say, then watch it become available market selections and a normal bet slip.

  • Outcome first
  • Real selections out
  • Multi-sport

04AI discovery

Screenshot to Bet

A screenshot can already contain the event, player and reason for interest. Use that context as a shortcut into sportsbook inventory.

Problem

Sporting intent often starts in stat apps, social feeds, score screens and team news — then the customer has to rebuild the same context inside the sportsbook.

What changes

Read the screenshot, resolve the sporting context and return relevant markets that already exist for that event.

Try this in the demo

Switch between a stat card, social post, lineup and live score to see how different screenshots can lead into different parts of the same sportsbook catalogue.

  • Image → context
  • Existing markets
  • Multi-source

05Free-to-play engagement

Betting Arcade

Turn sports and sportsbook data into a standalone arcade of 20–60 second mini-games that can also power missions, bonusing, loyalty, sponsorship and CRM activation.

Problem

Sportsbooks are highly transactional products. They have fewer compelling experiences for low-intent moments when a user opens the app simply to check in, kill time or interact with sport.

What changes

Create a separate free-to-play arcade destination where existing sports data generates short playable loops such as Line Rush, Swipe Sprint, Market Match, Bracket Blitz and Quick Pick.

Try this in the demo

Open the arcade, switch between five mini-games and play each mechanic. Score, streak, progress and completion are the experience; market data stays underneath as the content engine.

  • 5 mini-games
  • 20–60 sec loops
  • Campaign + reward layer

06Gamified betting UX

Bet Quest

Turn a bet slip into a threshold-based challenge by converting odds into points and letting customers build toward operator-defined rewards.

Problem

Bonus and mission mechanics matter commercially, but they often live outside the act of building a bet and therefore feel disconnected from the actual UX.

What changes

Keep normal selections and odds, but add Quest Points, visible thresholds and a reward track directly inside the slip-building flow.

Try this in the demo

Select 2–5 picks, watch their Quest Points accumulate toward Bronze, Silver or Gold, then resolve the demo to see how the achieved total unlocks a reward.

  • Odds → points
  • Threshold rewards
  • Campaign-ready UX

Odds Bingo

Turn qualifying settled wins into a visible Bingo board where completed patterns unlock operator-defined rewards.

Problem

Betting promotions often ask customers to remember qualifying rules and mentally track progress outside the core sportsbook journey.

What changes

Translate campaign rules into a 3×3 board: target a square, use an eligible sportsbook selection, stamp the square when it wins and unlock rewards by completing patterns.

Try this in the demo

Open a square such as Power Pick, attach an eligible market, then settle the demo card to watch winning selections stamp two Bingo lines and unlock a reward.

  • 3×3 board
  • Win → stamp
  • Pattern rewards

08Live decision UX

Bet Triggers

Let customers define the live match state that matters, then surface the relevant market when those conditions become true.

Problem

Live betting still requires customers to repeatedly monitor match statistics, market availability and price until the moment they care about finally arrives.

What changes

Add a trigger layer that evaluates explicit sports-data and market-state conditions, then alerts the customer or prepares the relevant market for confirmation.

Try this in the demo

Arm the Pressure Building trigger, run the match simulation and watch possession, recent shots and minimum odds turn true one by one until the configured market is surfaced.

  • Live signals
  • IF / AND / THEN rules
  • Market hand-off

The prototypes are intentionally opinionated. The useful next step is testing the underlying behaviour, commercial logic and technology implications against your own iGaming proposition.
