Advisory services

Eleven mandates, three disciplines.

Engagements are scoped individually, but almost all of them sit in one of three places: the shape of the commercial business, the product and technology that has to carry it, or a transaction where both are being valued.

Common questions

How this works in practice.

How is this different from a large consulting firm?
Large firms bring a methodology and learn your business on your budget. Adria Nexus brings two decades of having already run sportsbook trading, product and commercial functions. You get judgement formed inside operators rather than a framework applied from outside, and you work with the principal rather than an engagement team.
What does a typical engagement look like?
Most begin with a fixed-scope mandate of four to twelve weeks answering one defined question — a product assessment, an operating model design, a platform decision or a due diligence. Some continue as an advisory retainer once the first question is answered. Board advisory work is usually ongoing and lighter touch.
Do you work with investors as well as operators?
Yes. Commercial and technology due diligence for private equity and strategic acquirers is a significant part of the practice. Being an operator first is what makes that work useful: the question is not whether the numbers add up, it is whether the product and the trading capability behind them are what the seller says they are.
Can you advise on platform selection if you have built a platform?
Having built sportsbook pricing technology is precisely what makes the assessment credible. Adria Nexus takes no commission, referral fee or commercial position with any vendor, and any prior relationship is disclosed before an engagement begins.
Which markets do you cover?
Europe primarily, with work spanning regulated and newly regulating markets. International expansion advisory covers market sequencing, entry model and the local operational realities that rarely appear in a market sizing.
Do you sign non-disclosure agreements?
Always, and as a matter of course before any commercial detail is discussed. Client names are never published without written permission, which is why the current mandate is described on this site without naming the group.
