Watch
Choose one or two simple match signals: possession, shots, score, time, player stats or a live price.
Instead of checking live markets again and again, tell the sportsbook what match state you are waiting for. When it happens, choose whether the product should notify you — or execute a pre-authorised bet inside limits you set in advance.
Working demo
In this example, “really pushing” means 60%+ possession and at least four shots in the last ten minutes. The customer can either receive a notification or pre-authorise an automatic € stake with a minimum acceptable price and an expiry.
Illustrative concept prototype. Match data, odds, fees and execution are fictional. Automated wagering and fee structures would require jurisdiction-specific legal, regulatory, affordability and operator controls.
Why this exists
A customer may already know the situation they care about: a team dominating without scoring, a basketball player heating up, a tennis player suddenly struggling on serve, or a price moving above a level they consider interesting.
Today they normally have to keep the match open, watch the statistics and repeatedly check the sportsbook. Bet Triggers reverses that relationship. The customer defines the moment once; the product watches for it.
The product grammar
Choose one or two simple match signals: possession, shots, score, time, player stats or a live price.
Notify me when it happens, or pre-authorise an automatic bet with a stake, minimum odds and expiry.
When the trigger is true, the sportsbook either brings the customer back or executes only inside the limits they already approved.
What can be watched
The customer should never need to build a complicated automation rule. A few familiar sports conditions are enough.
A few examples
Each trigger is just a simple description of a moment the customer would normally sit and wait for.
When possession is 60%+ and recent shots are 4+.
Show next team to score.
When a player reaches 18 points before half-time.
Show the live player points line.
When first-serve percentage falls and break-point pressure rises.
Show next game / set markets.
When a team trails by one score with enough time remaining.
Show live moneyline or spread.
Why it matters
The opportunity is not automation for its own sake. It is letting customers express intent before the exact betting moment exists.
The product watches the match state after the customer has told it what matters.
“Your trigger is live” is based on something the customer explicitly asked to watch.
The market is surfaced because the sporting situation made it relevant, not because it happened to sit high in an accordion.
One fan waits for pressure. Another waits for a price. Another follows a player stat.
The commercial model
Bet Triggers can be useful even when it is free. The monetisation opportunity appears when the operator executes a customer-defined instruction on their behalf.
The sportsbook watches the condition and sends a contextual notification when the moment arrives. The customer opens the market and confirms normally.
Possible model · included in core sportsbookThe customer pre-authorises the stake, minimum odds and expiry. If every condition is satisfied, execution can happen automatically.
Illustrative model · 1.5% of stakeThe same capability could be included in a subscription, VIP tier, loyalty status or promotional allowance rather than charged per execution.
Operator chooses the commercial wrapperThe €20 remains the wager amount. The €0.30 is an illustrative, separately disclosed automation-service fee. Exact treatment would depend on regulation, tax, operator policy and market design.
Why pre-authorisation matters
Keep the boundary simple
Notification mode keeps the final decision manual. Auto-bet mode only exists after the customer has explicitly armed a trigger and fixed the execution limits in advance. The system should never improvise stake, price tolerance or repeated bets.
The bigger idea
That makes Bet Triggers more than a market alert. Notification mode is a lightweight live assistant; automation mode is a tightly bounded execution layer. The same trigger engine can support both without forcing every customer into automatic betting.
